If You Died Today, Are You 100% Sure You Would Go to Heaven?
This is the most important question you will ever answer.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Hebrews 9:27 KJV
The Bible says there are only two destinations after death: Heaven or Hell. There is no in-between, no second chance, no purgatory. The good news is that God has made the way to Heaven crystal clear in His Word.
You can know for certain, right now, that you have eternal life. The Bible was written so that you may KNOW you have eternal life, not hope or think, but KNOW for sure.
The Truth You Must Face
No amount of good works, church attendance, baptism, or religious activities can get you to Heaven. The Bible is clear:
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;
Isaiah 64:6 KJV
Why You Need to Be Saved
Every person born into this world has a sin nature. We have all broken God's laws:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:23 KJV
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:10 KJV
The penalty for sin is not just physical death, but eternal separation from God in Hell:
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23 KJV
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:15 KJV
Despite our sinful condition, God's love for humanity remains constant and unconditional:
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 KJV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 KJV
God's Solution for Your Sin
Jesus Christ took upon Himself the punishment we deserved. Through His death on the cross and resurrection, He made salvation possible for all who believe:
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
1 Peter 2:24 KJV
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1 Peter 3:18 KJV
Salvation cannot be earned through good works or religious activities. It is a free gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ:
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Titus 3:5 KJV
Salvation becomes personal when you individually receive Jesus Christ as your Savior. This involves believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth:
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
John 1:12 KJV
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:9-10 KJV
What Must You Do to Be Saved?
The Bible gives a simple answer:
And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Acts 16:30-31 KJV
It's not believe AND be baptized. It's not believe AND join a church. It's not believe AND live a good life. It's simply BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ!
Prayer of Salvation
If you want to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you can pray this prayer:
"Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and deserve hell. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and rose again the third day. I now trust Jesus Christ alone as my personal Savior. Please forgive me of my sins and give me eternal life. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen."
You Can Know You Are Saved
Once you have received Christ, you can have complete assurance of your salvation. God's Word promises eternal life to all who believe.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
1 John 5:13 KJV
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
John 5:24 KJV

Every Soul Matters to God
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9 KJV
Someone's eternity may depend on you sharing the Gospel with them today.
As believers, we have been given the ministry of reconciliation. Every Christian is called to be a soul winner. This guide will equip you with Biblical truth and practical methods to lead others to Christ.
Why Soul Winning Is Urgent
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
John 4:35 KJV
People are dying every day without Christ. According to statistics, approximately 150,000 people die each day worldwide. How many of them knew Jesus as their Savior?
The Great Commission
Jesus Christ gave His followers a clear mandate to spread the Gospel throughout the world. This commission remains our primary mission today.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 28:19-20 KJV
Biblical Foundation for Soul Winning
Scripture consistently emphasizes the importance and wisdom of winning souls for Christ.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
Proverbs 11:30 KJV
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Daniel 12:3 KJV
Essential Preparation for Soul Winning
Your testimony is your most powerful tool. People observe your life more than they listen to your words. A consistent Christian walk lends credibility to your message.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16 KJV
Prayer is essential in soul winning. Pray for opportunities to share the Gospel and for the Holy Spirit to prepare hearts to receive the message.
Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
Romans 10:1 KJV
Memorize key salvation verses so you can share them effectively. Being prepared with God's Word gives you confidence and authority in witnessing.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
The Romans Road: A Soul Winning Tool
The Romans Road is an effective method for presenting the Gospel using verses from the book of Romans. This systematic approach covers all essential elements of salvation:
-
Romans 3:10 - "There is none righteous, no, not one"
-
Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"
-
Romans 5:8 - "But God commendeth his love toward us..."
-
Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death..."
-
Romans 10:9-10 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth..."
-
Romans 10:13 - "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"
Practical Soul Winning Strategies
-
Build Relationships First People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Invest time in genuine friendships and show authentic interest in their lives before presenting the Gospel.
-
Listen More Than You Speak Understanding where someone is spiritually helps you address their specific needs and concerns. Ask thoughtful questions about their beliefs and listen carefully to their responses.
-
Use Your Personal Testimony Share how Christ transformed your life. Personal stories are powerful and relatable, often breaking down barriers that theological arguments cannot.
-
Be Gentle and Respectful Never argue or engage in debates. Present the truth in love and allow the Holy Spirit to do the convicting work in their hearts.
-
Keep It Simple Avoid overwhelming people with excessive information. Focus on the basic Gospel message: we are sinners, Christ died for us, and we must receive Him by faith.
-
Be Prepared for Questions Study common objections and Biblical responses. If you don't know an answer, be honest and offer to research it together.
-
Follow Up Consistently After someone accepts Christ, disciple them faithfully. Help them grow in their new faith through Bible study, prayer, and church involvement.
Addressing Common Objections
"I'm a good person"
Many people believe their good deeds will earn them heaven. The Bible teaches that our righteousness is insufficient before a holy God.
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags...
Isaiah 64:6 KJV
"There are many ways to heaven"
In our pluralistic society, many believe all religions lead to God. Jesus clearly stated He is the only way to the Father.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6 KJV
"I'll do it later"
Procrastination in spiritual matters is dangerous. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone.
Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
Proverbs 27:1 KJV
The Power of Compassion
Effective soul winning requires genuine compassion for the lost. Our approach should be motivated by love, not judgment.
And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Jude 1:22-23 KJV
Prayer for Soul Winners
"Dear Heavenly Father, give me a burden for lost souls. Help me to see people as You see them - precious souls in need of salvation. Give me boldness to share the Gospel, wisdom to answer questions, and love to show Your compassion. Use me as Your vessel to bring others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Remember: The Holy Spirit Does the Work
While we are called to share the Gospel, conversion is ultimately the work of the Holy Spirit. Our responsibility is to be faithful witnesses; God is responsible for the results.
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:44 KJV
Your job is to plant the seed and water it. God gives the increase. Don't be discouraged if someone doesn't respond immediately. Keep praying and trusting God to work in His perfect timing.
